The Eddie Munster Bet: Rampage Jackson vs. Henry Cejudo at UFL 6

MMA news

MMA icon Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson anticipates great amusement if his team secures victory over Henry Cejudo’s squad at UFL 6.

The event is scheduled for May 2nd at the Westworld Scottsdale Equidome in Arizona, USA. These two legendary fighters will each lead a team of five competitors. ‘Triple C’ will coach Team Scottsdale, while the former UFC light heavyweight champion heads Team Orange County.

There`s more at stake than just bragging rights. Jackson revealed that his opponent has agreed to a comical forfeit should his team lose the matchup.

Henry Cejudo`s Hilarious Forfeit

Henry Cejudo is clearly motivated to ensure Team Scottsdale comes out on top, as Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has bet him that the losing coach must dress up as Eddie Munster from the classic TV show `The Munsters`.

Jackson explained his reasoning: “Henry Cejudo, he reminds me of Eddie Munster. So, he gotta get those little triangle cuts in his hair, he’s got to wear the clothes and wear the makeup. He’s going to look like a man-child if I win.”

While it`s unlikely Jackson would physically force his friend into the costume, it`s certainly a consequence the former two-division UFC champion will want to avoid.

Jackson doesn`t have a similar forfeit on the line, but he stated that the idea of losing to Cejudo is unbearable. He confessed, “Henry is my buddy. But if he wins, he’s going to forever rub it in my face, and I don’t want anything rubbed in my face, I do the face-rubbing.”

Team Confidence and Scoring

Rampage expressed excitement for the event, confident that his Team Orange County lineup is formidable.

He highlighted key fighters: “We’ve got some killers on our team. We’ve got Gino Morelli, the kid is undefeated, 4-0; he’s a great wrestler. We’ve got Patrick Cornett, and in the main event, we’ve got Randall Wallace. We’ve got some killers on our squad.”

Throughout the night, points will be accumulated by the teams based on their fight results.

The UFL scoring system works as follows:

For 3-round bouts:

  • Win in Round 1 = 4 points
  • Win in Round 2 = 3 points
  • Win in Round 3 = 2 points
  • Win by Decision = 1 point

For 5-round bouts:

  • Win in Round 1 = 6 points
  • Win in Round 2 = 5 points
  • Win in Round 3 = 4 points
  • Win in Round 4 = 3 points
  • Win in Round 5 = 2 points
  • Win by Decision = 1 point

If the teams are tied on points after the main event, the tiebreaker will be the total accumulated cage time of the winning fights for each team. The team that achieved their wins in the shortest total time will be declared the winner.
