Jon Jones was stunned at the first Dirty Boxing Championship event when his teammate was knocked out.

Recently, UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones announced he co-owns a new fight promotion, Dirty Boxing Championship.

The first Dirty Boxing Championship event occurred on the same Saturday as a UFC event in London, where Tom Aspinall mocked Jones.

Although Dirty Boxing Championship held an event last November behind closed doors, Saturday was the promotion`s first live event in Miami, headlined by Yoel Romero.

As Jones` first event as co-owner, it featured his teammate and ex-UFC fighter Maurice Greene against Rakim Cleveland.

For Jones, his new venture started poorly as Greene was quickly knocked out in 40 seconds.

Almost immediately in the fight, Greene seemed to injure his shoulder and was quickly knocked down by Cleveland.

Cleveland continued with strikes, knocking Greene out and sending him through the ropes.

Greene appeared shaken after the knockout and limped out of the ring.

The scene was concerning, especially as the ringside doctor offered little help to Greene.

Greene`s coaches were also absent as he left the ring unaided.

UFC flyweight Charles Johnson questioned the absence of Greene`s coaches and the doctor`s inaction after the KO.

“Where are Greene’s coaches? Help him! He’s clearly unstable. The doctor is just watching, help him to the stool,” Johnson said on social media.
