Paige VanZant is aiming to avenge a past defeat in the UFC after experiencing two consecutive fight cancellations.
The former UFC personality has maintained an active presence in combat sports since her return in 2024. Following her departure from the UFC, VanZant has competed in BKFC, boxing, and Dana White`s Power Slap. She was originally scheduled to compete for the promotion`s inaugural women`s title in Power Slap on June 27th.
However, a “pretty severe” injury earlier this month forced VanZant to withdraw from the slap fighting event.
Earlier in May, Paige VanZant was also set to face former Bellator fighter Randi Field under the GFL banner, but the promotion ultimately canceled the event.
What might be next for PVZ after this string of misfortune? The answer seems to be Dirty Boxing.

Paige VanZant Open to Rematch Jessica-Rose Clark in Dirty Boxing
VanZant was in attendance at Dirty Boxing 2, a new hybrid combat sports promotion spearheaded by fellow UFC and BKFC figure `Platinum` Mike Perry.
The fight card featured one of VanZant`s former opponents from the UFC, Jessica-Rose Clark. Clark defeated VanZant by unanimous decision in 2018.
Clark secured a victory in the Dirty Boxing ring against Marilia Morais. After the fight, the Australian fighter crossed paths with VanZant.
“You`re good, let`s go,” VanZant reportedly told Clark after they shared a hug.
“Congrats. Let`s do it. See you soon,” VanZant added.
Clark held a UFC record of 4 wins and 5 losses, leaving the organization in 2023 after three consecutive defeats. Since then, Clark has found success with two wins in Muay Thai and a winning debut in Dirty Boxing.
Paige VanZant Fought Jessica-Rose Clark the Distance After Breaking Her Arm in the First Round
The fight against Clark on January 14, 2018, was VanZant`s second-to-last bout in the UFC that resulted in a loss.
Despite the defeat at UFC St. Louis, VanZant received considerable praise for her resilience in fighting Clark for three rounds.
VanZant suffered a broken arm in the opening round while attempting a spinning back-fist. She informed her corner about the injury between rounds but bravely continued the fight.
VanZant won the final round against Clark and managed to go the distance to the judges` scorecards, even after nearly being submitted by a triangle choke in the second round.
Seven years later, Clark and VanZant might finally get the opportunity to have their rematch.
