Muhammad Mokaev Hints at Upcoming Fight Date and Location

‘The Punisher’, boasting a perfect 13-0 record, is still considered a top flyweight competitor.

Despite discussions with UFC matchmakers, Muhammad Mokaev did not re-sign with the UFC after their separation last year.

The 24-year-old fighter had a 7-0 record in the UFC before returning to BRAVE CF, where he previously competed before joining the UFC in 2022.

There have been conflicting reports about his current relationship with UFC management after they chose not to renew his contract following a controversial bout with Manel Kape in July.

After securing a victory in his BRAVE CF return by submitting Joevincent So in December, it appears Mokaev may have another fight scheduled.

BRAVE CF 95 in Spain on May 31 Potentially Next for Muhammad Mokaev

Muhammad Mokaev’s quick first-round victory at BRAVE CF 91 highlighted his talent, which was also evident during his UFC stint.

He decisively defeated Joevincent So and, importantly, added another submission finish to his highlights.

Regardless of any potential challenges working with him during his UFC tenure, the undefeated flyweight remains a highly skilled fighter in his division with room for further improvement.

It seems unlikely the UFC will change their stance soon, but Mokaev is staying active and progressing his career.

BRAVE CF recently announced on social media their upcoming event in Spain, BRAVE CF 95, in collaboration with Fight2ONE, scheduled for May 31.

Mokaev’s response to this announcement suggests he will compete at the Pabellon Santiago Martin in Tenerife.

Possible Rematch for Muhammad Mokaev

Finding suitable opponents for Muhammad Mokaev in BRAVE CF, given his 13-0 record, will be challenging.

While the fight didn’t happen due to an injury that led to Mokaev facing a late replacement, BRAVE CF made a solid effort before BRAVE CF 91.

Luthando Biko from South Africa, a former EFC champion, although without UFC experience, was a decent opponent for BRAVE’s significant signing.

Rescheduling the fight against Biko could be a sensible option for ‘The Punisher’ if a higher-profile opponent cannot be secured.
