Michael Bisping strongly criticized Vitor Belfort, the fighter whose head kick led to his eye injury.
The acclaimed British MMA fighter, a UFC champion, achieved success despite vision impairment.
Michael Bisping`s health problems began after his fight with Vitor Belfort in January 2011.
Belfort, known as `The Phenom,` knocked Bisping down with a high kick and finished the fight with ground strikes.
During a conversation with former boxer Carl Froch, Bisping was asked to name the `biggest k—head` in MMA.
Initially considering Tim Kennedy, Bisping concluded that Vitor Belfort was more deserving of the title.
“Oh, Vitor Belfort. A Brazilian steroid user. He is one of the biggest cheaters in the sport.
“I have never used steroids. Combat sports should be about skill and training, but this guy was using every steroid imaginable.
“So, forget Tim Kennedy. Vitor Belfort is the biggest k—head in MMA.”
Bisping and Froch also discussed a hypothetical street fight between them.
“I’ll just take you down,” Bisping stated.
Froch mentioned using his jab to keep Bisping at bay, but Bisping suggested it would be a one-sided fight.
Bisping added: “Listen, I`m not trying to compare myself, but I will say… I was known for my boxing skills back in the day.”
