Lewis Hamilton makes his first solo cover appearance in the EA F1 series.

It may surprise fans that the seven-time world champion has never been the sole star on the series` covers. His move to Ferrari, uniting F1`s legendary team and one of its greatest drivers, certainly deserves `Iconic` status.

`Moving to Scuderia Ferrari HP is an exciting new chapter, and it`s incredible to have this moment on the EA Sports F1 25 Iconic Edition cover,` Hamilton said. `I`m energized for this next part of my F1 story and love that fans can experience it with me in the game.`

While not solo before, Hamilton has frequently appeared on covers with other drivers since F1 2015.

Hamilton`s Ferrari move was a major story of the 2024 season, sparking driver market movement. After a tough start in Australia, his China weekend saw him achieve sprint qualifying success and his first F1 Sprint Race win, demonstrating his tire management skills against competitors.

Hamilton finished sixth in the Chinese Grand Prix but was later disqualified due to excessive skid wear, concluding the weekend negatively. This marked an unwanted historic first for Ferrari, with both drivers disqualified in the same race.

Recent Deluxe Editions, `Champion`s Editions,` celebrated the previous season`s champion, often featuring Max Verstappen. Hamilton`s Ferrari move broke this tradition, with EA Sports emphasizing the excitement and significance of his team change for fans globally.

Hamilton collaborated with photographer Campbell Addy, providing input on portraying pride, prestige, and excitement for the cover. His preference for walking and seated poses was chosen for the final image.

More details on EA Sports F1 25 will be announced soon.
