Harry Kane`s long-awaited first major trophy could be within reach in the coming weeks. His transfer to Bayern Munich nearly two years ago has proven beneficial in numerous ways, according to the striker himself.
With a comfortable six-point lead in the Bundesliga and only seven games remaining, Bayern are strong favorites to secure the title. This victory would potentially silence critics who believe his lack of silverware diminishes his status as one of the greatest goalscorers of his generation. However, at 31, Kane emphasizes that the pursuit of trophies is not his primary motivator.
“There`s been a lot of discussion about trophies, but whether I end my career with one or twenty, I don`t believe it will alter my approach,” Kane stated in a CBS Sports Golazo Network interview. “My daily goal is to be the best version of myself, both as a person and a teammate, and to perform at my peak as a player. I feel I`m currently in my prime and want to continue playing at this high level for as long as possible.”
