EA Sports has revealed more information about the highly anticipated F1 25 racing game, following the announcement of Lewis Hamilton as the cover star for the Iconic Edition. The game is set to launch on May 30, 2025, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The Standard Edition of F1 25 will feature a trio of prominent drivers on its cover: Oscar Piastri from McLaren, fresh off his victory at the recent Chinese Grand Prix; Carlos Sainz of Williams, who secured points for the team in Shanghai; and Oliver Bearman, the Haas rookie who also earned his first points at the same race weekend.

Fans who enjoy the narrative aspect of the game will be pleased to know that Braking Point, the series` story mode, will continue with Braking Point 3. This chapter will follow the fictional Konnersport team as they aim for championship glory after their progression in the previous installment. F1 25 will offer adjustable difficulty settings for the single-player mode, catering to both newcomers and experienced players.

A significant revamp of the popular My Team mode is also in development by EA Sports, with a focus on enhancing the management aspects. Players will seemingly have greater control and responsibilities, with the option to participate in races as either of their team`s drivers. Visual improvements to several tracks are also expected to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Pre-orders for F1 25 are now open through EA and Codemasters, offering various incentives. Early purchasers of the Standard Edition will receive the F1 75 Celebration Pack, the F1 World Starter Pack, and 5,000 PitCoin in-game currency. Those who pre-order the Iconic Edition will also gain access to a selection of F1 24 season liveries, Hamilton-themed items, and post-release story content featuring the fictional APXGP team from Apple`s upcoming Formula 1 movie. Iconic Edition owners will also get early access to the game starting on May 27, 2025.
