Eddie Hall names ideal opponent after 30-second KO win over five-time World’s Strongest Man

MMA news

Eddie Hall had a perfect start to his professional mixed martial arts career.

Known as `The Beast`, Hall had previously challenged Mariusz Pudzianowski following an unusual 2-on-1 fight last June.

Nearly a year later, at KSW 105 on Saturday night, Eddie Hall dominated and defeated the five-time World`s Strongest Man in just 30 seconds.

Speaking after the fight, the 336-pound super heavyweight named the opponent he ideally wants to face next.

What`s next for Eddie Hall?

Hall clarified that his debut win didn`t mean he was aiming for the top ranks in MMA.

The 37-year-old stated his focus would be on fighting `heroes` and `the freaks of the world`.

Ideally, Hall expressed interest in a rematch with Pudzianowski, who immediately after his third consecutive loss, claimed he was hit with illegal shots to the back of the head.

“Maybe Mariusz will do the rematch with two minutes rounds,” he said.

“I`ve got no aspirations to be number one in KSW. That`s just not for me.

“I want to come and have fun. I want to fight my heroes. I want to fight the freaks of the world.”

Mariusz Pudzianowski hints at retirement

Before the highly anticipated `World`s Strongest Fight` against Hall, Pudzianowski had already hinted at potential retirement from MMA.

Following his devastating loss, the 48-year-old showed little interest in discussing a potential rematch.

“I`m not thinking about the future,” Pudzianowski admitted.

“I turned 48, almost 49. The sport is for young people.

“What`s next? I don`t know.”
