Recently, Eddie Hall and Mariusz Pudzianowski met face-to-face for the first time in several years.
These former World’s Strongest Man winners are scheduled to fight in Gliwice, Poland, on April 26.
Mariusz Pudzianowski has been involved in MMA for 16 years.
The 48-year-old has a 75-second knockout victory over boxer Butterbean and a quick win against Bob Sapp. Eddie Hall, however, will be making his MMA debut when they compete later this month.
Watch Eddie Hall’s Awkward Encounter with Mariusz Pudzianowski
‘The Beast’ initially challenged Pudzianowski after winning a 2vs1 fight last June.
Almost a year later, they met in person, and KSW shared an awkward video of the encounter on social media.
The video shows Hall approaching Pudzianowski, and they share a notably long handshake.
Pudzianowski jokingly looked at his 350lb opponent with mock fear before they tried to recall when they last met.
The large pair, expected to weigh over 600lbs combined, exchanged shoulder taps and pleasantries during the unusual meeting, which concluded with Pudzianowski speaking in Polish before they parted ways.
Eddie Hall Humbled by Training with Tom Aspinall
For the past year, Hall has been training with interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
It’s clear that Aspinall has had the upper hand in their training sessions.
“You just feel like a little girl,” Hall told Bloody Elbow’s Donagh Corby.
“Even for a man of my size, he uses your strength against you, and his hands are incredibly fast. His footwork is amazing.
“You feel inadequate going into the ring with Tom Aspinall.
“And that’s coming from a ‘World’s Strongest Man’.
“Training with Tom is a very humbling experience.”
