Following his impressive MMA debut, speculation surrounding Eddie Hall`s next bout has intensified. The former World`s Strongest Man secured a dominant 30-second TKO victory over Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105 in Gliwice, Poland, on Saturday night.
Since `The Beast`s` win, he has challenged Dillon Danis and been mentioned alongside other prominent fighters. However, Eddie Hall has now confirmed that he has already signed a contract for his upcoming MMA fight.
Details Emerge About Eddie Hall`s Potential Next Opponent and Return Date
Despite his dominant win, Hall surprisingly called for a rematch with Pudzianowski immediately after their fight at KSW 105. This was unexpected by many who witnessed his easy victory over the five-time World`s Strongest Man.
Nevertheless, the 37-year-old has confirmed he has already signed a contract for a second fight against Pudzianowski. Should the 48-year-old decide not to retire, the rematch could take place around the end of 2025.
Hall revealed to Ariel Helwani on Wednesday, “There is a two-fight deal [with KSW]. The second fight is meant to be a rematch with Mariusz Pudzianowski. Potentially in November, but we’ve got to be realistic about it… I don’t know if that rematch is going to happen. I would be interested in it.”
He added a condition for the potential rematch: “It would have to be for two-minute rounds, I wouldn’t agree to four-minute rounds again because it just made my camp so unbearable. The training for four-minute rounds, it just became so miserable for me. So, yeah, if it was to happen again, it would have to be the two-minute rounds. I’d happily fight Mariusz again and make it even more of an explosion.”
Potential Bout: Eddie Hall vs Francis Ngannou?
KSW president Martin Lewandowski initially raised the possibility of a fight between Hall and Ngannou last week. Following his win over Pudzianowski, Hall emphatically dismissed the idea of facing Ngannou with a colorful, explicit remark.
He stated, “I would rather get f—ed up the a— by the devil than fight Francis Ngannou… I’m not fighting Francis Ngannou, that’s not happening, no. Let’s just not mention my name anywhere near that name.”
However, in his discussion with Helwani, Hall appeared to soften his stance considerably. This suggests that if the contracted rematch with Pudzianowski doesn`t materialize, Hall could potentially face ‘The Predator’ next.
