The upcoming F1 25 game from EA Sports will feature content inspired by the `F1 The Movie` film. While the game already includes the fictional Konnersport team in its Braking Point story mode, adding an 11th team, it will also introduce APXGP. APXGP is the team central to the forthcoming racing movie, further expanding the grid in the game.
Players will have access to a total of six scenarios directly inspired by the movie`s plot, allowing them to drive the APXGP cars. These missions will blend gameplay from F1 25 with cinematic elements from the film, enabling players to experience pivotal moments from the movie`s narrative firsthand.
An introductory scenario set at Silverstone will be available free of charge to all players starting from the game`s release day. This will be followed by five additional episodes based on races at iconic tracks like Monza, Zandvoort, Mexico, Spa, and Abu Dhabi. Each of these scenarios will present unique objectives, which may vary depending on which APXGP driver the player chooses to portray.
This `F1 The Movie` crossover content is planned for release on June 30, 2025, approximately one month after the initial launch of F1 25. The content will be automatically included for owners of the Iconic Edition of the game. However, players who purchase the Standard Edition will need to buy the complete content pack (excluding the free intro mission) separately as paid downloadable content (DLC).
Beyond the specific movie scenarios, the APXGP team will also be fully integrated into the My Team and Driver Career modes. This allows players who enjoy this new team to guide them through the challenges and triumphs of a full Formula 1 season, or simply enjoy having them as an additional competitor to race against on the grid.
