Brazilian fighter Diego Brandao continues to demonstrate that athletes can find success after their tenure with the UFC concludes.
During his prime, `Ceara` was a winner of The Ultimate Fighter reality show and competed ten times inside the Octagon.
A memorable UFC event in Dublin, Ireland, in July 2014, saw Diego Brandao and Conor McGregor headline the card.
McGregor, known as `Notorious`, secured a first-round knockout victory in that bout. He would later go on to become a two-division champion with the same promotion that released Brandao after three subsequent fights.

Diego Brandao`s Career Resurgence
The UFC`s decision to release Brandao seemed justified when he subsequently faced a difficult period, enduring a six-fight losing streak shortly after.
However, the 38-year-old has since dramatically turned his career around, winning six of his last eight contests.
The veteran fighter recently captured the Tuff-N-Uff featherweight championship in February, securing the title with a spectacular spinning kick that was considered a candidate for Knockout of the Year.
In doing so, Brandao ended the impressive nine-fight winning streak of highly-rated prospect Jamie Siraj.
He replicated this significant achievement by successfully defending his belt against Canaan Kawaihae (who held a 10-2 record) on Sunday evening.
Despite entering the fight as a considerable underdog, Brandao earned a fourth-round TKO victory at Tuff-N-Uff 145.
This latest win is particularly impressive when considering that just a few years ago, Brandao`s fighting career appeared to be nearing its end.
Sean Strickland Incident at the Event
In a separate notable moment during the Tuff-N-Uff 145 event, former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland made headlines with a viral appearance.
Following a loss by one of his teammates, Strickland entered the cage and physically struck another fighter.
The incident occurred after Miles Hunsinger was submitted by Luis Hernandez. Hernandez celebrated his victory by making an offensive gesture towards Hunsinger`s corner team, which included notable figures.
Strickland, accompanied by fellow UFC middleweight Chris Curtis, quickly entered the cage to confront Hernandez.
An altercation involving punches briefly took place but was swiftly broken up before any serious injuries occurred.
Despite the quick resolution of the immediate confrontation, Strickland could potentially face disciplinary action, such as a ban or fine, from the Nevada State Athletic Commission that sanctioned the event.
