BKFC recently hosted its inaugural event in Dubai, featuring two title fights and a debut from UFC veteran Aleksei Olenik, who suffered a knockout loss.
PFL star Dakota Ditcheva was also present. Her profile surged after winning the PFL women`s flyweight tournament and a $1 million prize last year.
Ditcheva`s star power is undeniable, with many MMA fans urging the UFC to sign her, especially after her appearance at UFC London.
McGregor and Ditcheva met for the first time at the event, and their interaction was recorded.
“Dakota, a superstar, what’s up sweetheart,” McGregor greeted Ditcheva.
“You’re the next big thing, baby. Great to see you. You’re a strong woman, good girl. F—— awesome, great to see you, great to finally meet you. What’s the crack? What do you have up next?” McGregor inquired.
Ditcheva replied, “I don’t know. PFL are working on something for me.”
McGregor continued, “PFL are working on something for you? Ash! Superstar right here, 100%. Dakota, great to see you, sweetheart.”
Ditcheva last competed in November, achieving a career-highlight victory over former UFC title contender Taila Santos.
She will not participate in the 2025 PFL women`s flyweight tournament, limiting her to super-fight events and potential inactivity.
McGregor`s Security Involved in Incident
The event wasn`t without controversy, as McGregor`s security team reportedly clashed with a fan who allegedly attempted to approach McGregor, resulting in the fan being bloodied.
Video footage showed McGregor`s security in a physical altercation, with one punch leaving a fan bleeding.
McGregor hopes the second night of the BKFC event in Dubai will be more positive as more titles are contested.
