Football legend Chad Ochocinco might be facing a significant challenge. Mike Perry has offered him the chance to compete for the Dirty Boxing Championship.
This offer came during an event hosted by Jon Jones` new promotion at The Hangar in Regatta Harbour, Miami, Florida. The event was headlined by a fight between Yoel Romero and Ras Hylton.
During the broadcast, and prior to Ulysses Diaz`s victory over Brian Maxwell, commentators recalled Ochocinco`s draw against Ulysses Diaz in a previous boxing match on the Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul undercard.
Mike Perry, who is keen on fighting Ochocinco for a title, mentioned their past encounter and extended the challenge. Perry stated, “Why don’t you come over here to Dirty Boxing? We’ll give you a fight Ochocinco. You and me can fight for the Dirty Boxing world title, any time you ready.”
It remains to be seen if Ochocinco will accept Perry`s offer. Ochocinco has expressed interest in returning to combat sports and recently discussed a potential fight with James Harrison. Shawne Merriman has also shown interest in fighting James Harrison.
Merriman, who has a boxing background and is involved in MMA promotion, would like to test his skills against Harrison.
